I began an approach to Zowe but seems to be kind of difficult to understand what they want to achieve! Therefore I will wait to read in your blog!!

France huh, we are not that far away from each other 🙂

That is correct! I will use my IBM z/OS account to learn about the newer mainframe technologies. But at the moment, I’m more interested in running my own MVS 3.8j and the My Own Mainframe series that comes with it.

Aside from that, I am also very interested in master the mainframe 2019 and the openmainframe project by Zowe. I’ll blog about all of that too! (I hope to see you there too!)

If I may ask, what is your current occupation?

Nice website you have here! full of mainframish things! I have participated too in the MTM2018 for France(I’m the only one there!). I loved it! Easy to follow and challenging sometimes.
I’m an old cobol/rpg developer in AS/400 (now IBM i: bigger than a PC and less than a mainframe, they was called “mini” in the late 70’s). I see you found a possible server account for a mainframe. I tell you that because the account we have from the MTM challenge is still usable to continue to learn new things, but is limited for some stuffs like CICS, REXX with DB2, etc. You go forward in this way?
